ANPR Access Control Systems (Automatic Number Plate Recognition)
Access control can be defined as something as simple as a physical lock, but what about automatic vehicular access to your site, warehouse or holiday park? This is where you need a automatic number plate recognition system or ANPR Access Control Systems.
Tiamo Networks are specialist in the design, installation and setup of ANPR systems for medium to large sites and have implemented many holiday park and warehousing ANPR Access Control Systems.
The very latest ANPR Access Control Systems allow site management to administer which vehicles are allowed onto site, even down to specific time windows.
This can be in its simplest form CCTV cameras just the reading and recording of number plates as vehicles enter and leave the site, right through to barrier access as vehicles draw up to gates or barriers.
Many of our holiday home and warehousing clients have setup system to give customers, supplier or visitors through a barrier system via an admin portal. This allows for timed entry to the site, whether that be hours, days or weeks. Say, from a start date or time to an end date or time.
Once this has expired on the system then further access is denied unless re-instated or manually overridden by an operator.
All transactions through the barriers are logged into a master event log and are also logged against the customers records when they pass through the barrier.
We are also able to link the ANPR Access Control Systems to the sites CCTV system and recordings of the vehicles can be saved should they be needed in the future for safety or crime purposes.
Holiday Parks ANPR Access Control Systems
The ANPR Access Control Systems installed on holiday parks will allow guests access through the barriers only when the time of their allotted holiday begins. This allows them access in and out of the site until the end of their holiday. Once they have left the site at the end of their holiday then no further access is allowed.
Our ANPR system can also be linked to the main facilities to allow access control through to areas such as the main club house, swimming pool or gym/spa facilities.
Warehousing ANPR Access Control Systems
Site access through the ANPR Access Control Systems can be linked to HGV, PSV and other service vehicles and can be timed only to allow specific users through on to the site, such a delivery time slot or day/night shifts. This allows for the site to be free of specific vehicles or make vehicles secure when they shouldn’t be off site. IE: vehicles cannot leave site outside of daylight hours.
This can be overridden by operators such as security or manually by office staff via the portal software. An operator presses a button on the software which open the barrier.
Keycards, keyfobs and also number entry keypads can be integrated into the system to allow service staff entry even if the barriers are locked down.
